Mike continue to grow where you are planted because when your conviction is overturned you will be grateful you used your time wisely. I continue to believe in your innocence and know that the truth will prevail. Our Judicial system is broken and you are one of many being abused by it. Please never give up.

My nephew Mike, Words can't express the disbelief I have for such unfairness toward you with the recent denial of your PRCA. NO MATTER WHAT, you are loved, and we believe in you, your innocence, and your integrity. Know that our God has a path for each of us and, while difficult now, your time to shine is coming. I will always be there for you. Both Uncle John and I send love and hugs.

Hi Mike, Just wanted to let you know there are so many people that are supporting you. Please never give up your fight for freedom. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Keep your faith because those of us that have innocent loved ones in prison are raising our voices and sharing our stories and getting the attention that we need to get to get y'all home. Never give up. Alice

I want to offer you positive thoughts and hope. But I also align with the grief you must feel being maligned. Here are some words that bring me comfort.... Make me a channel of your peace Where there is hatred let me bring your love Where there is injury, your pardon Lord And where there's doubt, true faith in you Make me a channel of your peace Where there's despair in life let me bring hope Where there is darkness, only light And where there's sadness ever joy Oh, master grant that I may never seek So much to be consoled as to console To be understood as to understand To be loved as to love with all my soul Make me a channel of your peace It isn't pardoning that we are pardoned In giving to all men let we receive And in dying that we're born to turn around. In every moment, there are so many of us, unseen, that send you our love and energy. You are never alone. So many people hold you in their thoughts and daily prayers. I wish there were a better way. I wish for so many changes and write the federal government about issues I feel require attention. I won't give up. There is only compassion in my heart for anyone stuck in this hamster wheel. It's insanely inhumane. So may I end by telling you that you matter, are loved and cared for and that you will never be forgotten? This will absolutely end someday - it will. We just pray for it to end sooner. That would be the right and just way. For you to return to the loving arms of your family. I am so sorry about the denial of your PRCA after 5 years (ridiculous). I just have to believe that for all of this, there will be good to come. I have to believe. Hope is what keeps us all alive. To lose hope is to lose faith in the grace of our lives. So know I hold out the strongest hope that this will resolve sooner than later. You are loved dear Mike. Kindest regards, Wendy Norbom

Hi Mike, Honestly, I am sick of this ignorance. I can't believe this continues as it does, destroying your life and the lives of those who love you. It is a tragedy that all of your gifts must be put on hold because no one will examine the evidence to see the truth. I am angry that they take forever to complete their task and have little to no regard as to how this affects people's hopes. Society - the criminal justice system - has done you a grievous wrong. Sorry is not enough. At best, they should expedite your requests. Where is our compassion for others? Being wrongfully convicted is a nightmare. I advocate for wrongfully convicted people and I see this patterned treatment all across the nation. To live your life as a decent, law abiding citizen only to be blindsided by someone enacting their personal revenge and anger; there truly cannot be anything worse. I want you to know that I believe in your innocence, I believe in your right to proper justice, I believe that you deserve compensation for the years you have lost and I believe you should be compensated for all charges related to this bogus charge. I think about all of the people a wrongful conviction affects. You receive the worst of all of it. But those who love and care for you deeply hurt to their core. When there is an injustice, well then you have no confidence in the system period. continued....
