I met you in DC with Lawless America. Your son's tragedy hurts me too. I was glad to hear that had signed my petiton to free an innocent mom falsely accused and wrongfully convicted. She has now served 11 years. Read and sign the linked petition: www.justice4elsanewman.com

I came across your story at Lawless America. My heart and prayers go out to you all. Justice is the search for truth. But prosecutors too often than not, don't care about truth. All they want is a conviction. Don't ever give up!

My heart goes out to your family. My brother John KInsel was wrongfully convicted of aggravated rape of a child under the age of 12. He was sentenced to life at hard labor without parole. He has be incarcerated since 1996. The girl came forward when she became an adult and testified in court that my brother never touched her. She said she did what she did because she hate John with a passion. The judge at that hearing granted John a new trial but the D.A.'s office fought it and they won. John never received a new trial. He still remains in a Louisiana prison where he may remain for the rest of his life. John has always maintained his innocence. Some day he will be set free. We will never give up the fight for his freedom or for him to be declared innocent. If you would like to read about my brother his story has made worldwide attention... go to John Kinsel Life Without Parole. It was written by Mandy Oaklander with The Houston Press. I will be praying for your family. God bless and keep each of you in His loving hands. Alice
